Apple Street View?

You’re not going to see those cool Google cars, or any Apple cars, but there will be a bunch of cheap minivans and SUVs roaming the streets soon if the initial project goes well. That’s right, Apple wants to create their own street view experience for their customers and insiders think it may have to do with Apple Vehicles and new augmented reality technology. Here’s a list of locations from macrumors.com where Apple Vehicles have been sited in the United States:

  • Anaheim, California
  • Atlanta, Georgia
  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Dallas, Texas
  • Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Los Angeles, California
  • Maui, Hawaii
  • Miami, Florida
  • New York City, New York
  • Orlando, Florida
  • Palo Alto, California
  • Phoenix, Arizona
  • Salt Lake City, Utah
  • San Diego, California
  • San Francisco, California

Expectations are low

You might remember not long ago that Apple tried to launch Apple Maps and it was such a colossal failure that Apple execs including Tim Cook were literally on TV telling people “just use Google Maps for now.” Can we expect another disaster from Apple or are they going to see this project through all the way.

(we had a funny video to show you but the security settings are too high so you’ll just have to go to this youtube address to view it. PS- thanks HBO for being a bunch of douche bags and not letting anybody embed this video: https://youtu.be/C08WmKiwcSs)
